My mom started letting me borrow her 1970s Canon SLR when I was about 15. I mostly took photos of flowers and Breyer model horses, but thus began my real artistic journey. I learned to design simple websites and graphics around the same time and here we are!
My philosophy is a little different than most photographers, which I believe comes from my interest in computers. Honestly, I’m a total nerd! I love to read and learn about different techniques and technical aspects of photography, computers, and design, and leverage those things that I’ve learned into providing you with something uniquely interesting (but not gimmicky!). I want you to see it and say, “TOO. FREAKING. COOL.”
At the same time, I will work my hardest to bring out your love and your personality in whatever project you send my way!

More about me…
I am based in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. I am also a government employee, riding instructor, and wife. In my spare time I ride and show horses in eventing, which is kind of like equestrian triathlon, and watch a lot of ice hockey – the professional ones, but also my husband Nathan. We also really like to hang out on the couches with our three cats.
